Indian Mulligatawny is a comforting creamy chicken curry soup with hints of apple and rice. Which you can easily make at home. Recipe card included. No MSG
Need - (1) large skinless, boneless chicken breast (Cubed), (4 ½) Cups of chicken broth, (4) stalks celery chopped, (1) Large carrot diced, (1/2) Cup heated Half & Half, (1/4) Cup butter, (2/3) cup uncooked rice, (5) tsp. flour, (1/2) apple cored and chopped and (1) Indian Mulligatawny (Curry) Soup Recipe kit.
1st) In a large pot on medium heat melt the butter and Sauté the carrots and celery. Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
2nd) Stir in the flour (stirring often) for about 3 minutes
3rd) Add The Recipe Kit spices and cook for 1 minute. Stirring continuously to make sure the spices get toasted and don’t burn.
4th) Add the broth then bring to a boil. Once boiling then turn down to simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
5th) Add the Chicken and cook for another (10) minutes.
6th) Add in the apples and rice and cook for (20) minutes, (start to warm your Half & Half).
7th) Right before serving the soup stir in the heated half & half. Mix well, Serve and Enjoy!
