This is a wonderful autumn drink that is best served on a cool day. The citrus from the orange peels along with the allspice berries, Whole Cloves and Cinnamon sticks will infuse into the warm cider creating a decedent fall favorite. The kit includes recipe card, No guess work. No MSG and Gluten-Free
#103 (Hot Cider spice) - Need (1/2) gallon OR (8) cups of Apple Cider or Apple Juice, (2) full orange (rinds), Cheesecloth or strainer and (1) Hot Cider Spice Mix Recipe Kit.
1st) In a saucepan over medium high heat, bring cider (or apple juice) to a boil. Then add cinnamon sticks (provided).
2nd) In a cheesecloth or tea ball infuser, open (small) Recipe Kit and place into it.
3rd) Then place cheesecloth or recipe kit into pot, adding orange rind too. If you do not have a cheesecloth, open kit and place ingredients into pot of boiling cider. When ready to serve, strain out loose ingredients or remove cheesecloth from pot. Pour into mug and serve.
