This sandwich made with sliced roast beef paired on french bread is a crowd pleaser. The flavors are so rich and delicious they be asking for more. The kit includes all dry ingredients and recipe card, NO guess work.
#278 (Slow Cook French Dip) - Need (1) 4 lb. boneless Beef Roast, (1-2) cups of Water, (1/2) cup Soy sauce, (1) French Dip recipe kit and (20) slices of French bread or French Roll and (10) slices of Provolone Cheese. Optional: add creamy or raw Horseradish to sandwich.
1st) Remove and discard all fat from the Roast. Place trimmed meat into a slow cooker.
2nd) In a medium bowl, combine Soy sauce and Recipe kits (all 3). Stir well.
3rd) Then pour mixture over atop the roast in the slow cooker.
4th) Add enough Water to almost cover the roast. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-12 hours, or until meat in very tender.
5th) Remove meat from slow cooker, reserving the broth. Shred the meat with a fork, and distribute on slices of bread for sandwiches. Optional: Place cheese onto bread slices. Used reserved broth for dipping.
