The Shrimp or Chicken Alfredo is such an impressive dish, that's so easy to make! This would even be great as a vegetarian option as well. The kit includes recipe card, no guess work.
#428 (Shrimp/Chicken Alfredo) - Need (1) 15 ounce jar Alfredo sauce, (1) Pound of medium shrimp (Peeled and deveined) OR (1/2) Pound of cooked boneless chicken, (12) ounce Penne Pasta, (1) Red Bell Pepper (diced), (1/2) Pound Portobello mushrooms (sliced)- (BUTTON mushrooms are ok too), (1/2) Cup of heavy cream, (1/2) Cup grated Romano cheese, (1/4) Cup butter, (2) TBSP extra-virgin olive oil and (1) Shrimp/Chicken Alfredo recipe kit.
*If using Chicken= Season meat, then Fry or grill Chicken until fully cooked and set aside. Prior to adding the chicken into the dish cut chicken into strips.
1st) Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. ADD pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. DRAIN WATER!
2nd) IN large saucepan over medium heat stir in the butter and oil and once melted stir in the Recipe Kit Spices. Stirring often and cook for 2-3 minutes.
3rd) Now stir in the red peppers, mushrooms and cook on MEDIUM HIGH for 2 additional minutes.
4th) Now stir in the Shrimp and cook until firm and pink (about 3-5 minutes. Then pour in the alfredo sauce, Romano cheese. Once it’s well blended. Now stir in the DRAINED NOODLES and optional GRILLED CHICKEN. Stir well.
5th) Cook on medium heat for (3) minutes, remove and serve!
