These simplified slow cooker cabbage rolls are the perfect homemade, comforting meal to tackle on a lazy weekend day. The kit includes all dry ingredients and recipe card, No guess work.
#248 (Cabbage Rolls) Slow-cooker - Need (12) Cabbage Leaves, (1) cup cooked rice, (1) egg (beaten), (1/4) cup milk, (1) 8 oz. can Tomato sauce, (1) tsp. Worcestershire sauce and (4) Recipe kit. Optional: (1) lbs. of extra-lean ground beef.
1st) In a large pot filled with water over medium high heat, bring to boil. Then add cabbage leaves and bay leaves (recipe kit). Cook about 2-3 minutes. Drain cabbage leaves and discard bay leaves.
2nd) In a large bowl, combine (1) cup of cooked Rice, Egg, Milk, Onion (recipe kit) and optional: ground beef. Place about (¼) cup of mixture in center of each cabbage leaf. Roll up tucking in the ends. Now place into slow cooker over low heat.
3rd) In a small bowl combine Tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Brown sugar spices (recipe kit) and lemon juice (kit). Mix well. Then pour ingredients over cabbage rolls.
4th) Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours on low heat. Enjoy!
