If you're looking for an easy way to enjoy stuffed cabbage rolls, without all the hassle, then try this cabbage roll soup. It's large pieces of beef, cabbage, rice all simmering in a herb-tomato based broth. Definitely a must try for those cold winter nights.
#459- (Cabbage Roll SOUP) (2) Lbs. Hamburger, (4) Cups Chicken Broth, (4) Cups of Beef Broth, (7) Cups of Chopped Cabbage, (1 ½) Cups uncooked rice, (1) Cup Water, (2) 14.5 ounce diced tomatoes, (1) 8 ounce can tomato sauce, (1) TBSP oil, and (1) Cabbage Roll Soup Recipe Kit.
*NOTE- It looks like the pot is over loaded, however once cabbage softens it will make more room in the soup pot.
1st) Mix the hamburger with ONLY 1 cup of the uncooked rice. Mix together and then form very small balls (acorn size). Place in fridge for 15 minutes.
2nd) in a large soup pot add the oil and The Recipe Kit Spices. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes- stirring often
3rd) Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, both broths, water, and cabbage. Cook on Medium heat for 30 minutes
4th) Add in the extra ½ cup uncooked rice and the meatballs. Cook for another 45-60 minutes.
Tips: Instant rice works great!
