#179 (Slow Cook Apple Pulled Chicken) - Need (2) Lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken breasts, (1) peeled/cored Apple, (1) 12 Oz. bottle Hard Cider OR Apple Cider/Apple Juice, (8 oz.) Shredded sharp cheese and Slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, etc.)
1st) Place the onions and apple slices on the bottom of slow cooker.
2nd) Lay the chicken breasts over the top, and pour recipe kit over the chicken (using all the kit). Then pour hard cider (or Apple juice/Cider) over that.
3rd) Cook on low about 6-8 hours or until meat shreds easily.
4th) Remove the chicken, shred it and return to slow cooker. Toss all the ingredients thoroughly.
5th) Top one slice of bread with chicken mixture then sprinkle with cheese and top with another slice of bread. Enjoy!!
*Tip: Add some Coleslaw inside the sandwich for an extra sweet crunch!
